Jess + Paul

To say Jess and Paul had an amazing wedding is to put it lightly. The ceremony and reception took place on the site of their future home on Lake Minnetonka. The location couldn’t have been more beautiful and fitting. Although their wedding day had it all, it was the love of this new family coming together that out-shined everything. Jess and Paul’s love radiated through every laugh, tear, dance, embrace, kiss, toasts, and explosion in the sky. Speaking to Paul the father of the bride said it best, “Your respect and caring comes through in living-color. Most simply stated, I love how you love her.” Thanks to Gretchen and her team at Rocket Science everything was perfect and went off without a hitch. Kevin + Lauren

Kevin and Lauren met in culinary school, and so of course had amazing food at their wedding. Footage of this, along with a beautiful sermon on the “ingredients” that make a good marriage, set the scene for a beautiful day and wedding film. Kevin and Lauren are individually both amazing people, but put them together and they light up even more. Lauren was either on the verge of joyful tears, or laughter all day. There is so much more I want to say but their film says it better than I ever could. Thanks to Mi Mi Design everything from Winston’s, Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church, and The Calhoun Beach Club was perfect and beautifully appointed. Alison + Greg

Alison and Greg’s film begins with one of my favorite opening lines as the Rabbi says “Each of you has said that you can’t wait to become a family, to experience everything that is yet to come, you do not have to wait any longer.” Family was a major element of the wedding weekend and was on display in the many hugs, laughs, tears, looks of love, and in some of the most touching toasts I’ve ever heard. Everything was simply perfect. From Vicks Dining, Hell’s Kitchen, The University Hotel, Bet Shalom, and the McNamara Alumni Center, every moment was filled with love and celebration for Alison and Greg and I was so honored to have captured it. Stacie + Mike

As a dog/boxer lover and Apple fanatic myself, let’s just say working with Mike, Stacie, and Mali was beyond amazing. I knew their wedding was going to be special, and a blast to capture from the start, but I didn’t realize how moving and love-filled it was going to be. So often a theme naturally emerges during the filming of the wedding day and then really becomes apparent during the editing and production process. Without a doubt, the theme and take away from this film is joy! Everyone and everything at the Depot Minneapolis couldn’t have been more beautiful! There are so many amazing moments in this film from boxer kisses, a flower girl rap, a birds and the bees recap, and so much more. Congrats to a truly wonderful couple! Chandra + Mike

As a film maker it’s important for me to fall in love with each couple in order to tell the story of their wedding day as beautifully and creatively as I can. This took about two seconds with Chandra and Mike. They are both such amazing, fun, and loving people. Not to mention their family and friends! They’re also high school sweethearts, and with the help of the Maid of Honor and some saved love notes; we are able to travel back to the very beginning of their relationship. In one moment we hear some of their first conversations and in the next, we see an emotional Mike at the end of the isle waiting for his bride. To me, that is one of the coolest things that can be done with film. There are a million more things that I love about this couple and their day, and I’ll just point out one more. There is a moment where Chandra catches Mike yawning during picture time. Her reaction, his realization, then a smile - priceless. Everything was perfect from the Basilica, Loring Park, Oceanaire, to the Women's Club, and I am so honored that I was able to capture it. Congrats Chandra and Mike! Suzy + Aaron

There are so many things that I love about Suzy and Aaron’s wedding, but something that really stands out is their desire to honor the past and those who came before them. From family, to friends, they recognize that they are who they are today because of them, and embrace their memories as they start their new life together. Both being professional broadcasters, Suzy did an amazing job putting together a video for the reception that we used throughout their film to help tell this story. This was my first time in Omaha and I couldn’t have been more impressed. From the rehearsal dinner in the old market at the Upstream Brewing Company, to the ceremony and reception at the Joslyn Museum, everything couldn’t have been more beautiful and perfect. Suzy was just stunning, and Aaron’s love for her was not hard to miss. Another favorite moment, and you have to catch it quick, is when Suzy thanks Aaron for treating her like a queen. Without missing a beat you can see him say “you deserve it”. This reflexive response epitomizes their love for each other. It was such an honor to capture this celebration of love. Erik + Meghan

There are so many things I love about this couple and their wedding day, but what stands out most is how radiant Meghan was. She was just glowing all day and her smile was contagious - of course Erik had a lot to do with this. Her dad said it best at the reception referring to Erik’s effect on Meghan, “When you’re happy your face smiles. When you’re truly happy your eyes smile. And any guy that can make my daughters eyes smile the way you do is plenty good enough for me.” They are so in love and it permeated every moment of the wedding day. From the ceremony at Our Lady of Grace to the reception at Interlachen Country Club, everything couldn’t have been more beautiful and perfect. Parag + Bethany

Parag and Bethany couldn't have been more amazing. They are awesome individuals and together make the perfect couple. Yes, their wedding(s) at the Calhoun Beach Club were spectacular, but the weekend seemed like so much more. It was a celebration of love, friendship, family, and two very special lives coming together. Lot's of tears and laughter. Jessica + Lucho

My passion is story telling and being as true to an experience as possible. In this case that includes lots of laughs, some tears, and some adult language. Just a heads up. What to say about Jessica and Lucho? Beyond their epic destination wedding they are two of the nicest people I have ever met. Spend two minutes with them you’ll feel like a close friend - within that same amount of time you’ll also see how they are the perfect match. As was mentioned throughout the weekend they both fully embody the “joie de vivre” - and from amazing food, continuous laughter, and passionate dancing; it was on display. In addition to being in a stunning backdrop like Portugal every detail was thought of and couldn’t have been more beautifully appointed. Katy + Aaron

Katy and Aaron had the most beautiful, and unseasonably warm mid-November wedding in Minnesota. There was not a snowflake in sight and many of the leafs were still on the trees. Of course what really made this day special was the love that Katy and Aaron share and the love and excitement of their family and friends who there to celebrate and cheer them on as they being this new chapter in their lives. Both former Tommies, the ceremony was of course at the University of St. Thomas and the reception was held at The Graves 601 hotel in Minneapolis. Everything was stunning, every detail was perfect, and most importantly everyone had a blast. There are so many things I love about this couple and their wedding day but I’ll end with some simple words of advice from the best man for a perfect marriage “Love, commitment, patience, football, pizza, and pancakes.” Congrats Katy and Aaron!
