William + Pamela // Kauai Wedding

Being given a front row seat to a special celebration like a wedding is a huge honor - and it’s amazing how quickly you get to know someone you’ve just met over the course of a day or weekend as you film them. I was lucky enough to have almost a week with Pam and Will as we traveled Kauai telling their story. In addition to capturing some amazing footage they became good friends. As a former Apple employee, master inventor (we’re talking mind-controlled skate board stuff here), IMB genius award winner, TED speaker, and the list goes on… Will, aka Whurley, is one impressive individual. However, as impressive as his accomplishments are, he’s even a nicer guy making him a perfect match for his new wife. Pam’s beauty stole the spotlight the backdrop of Kauai usually has; not an easy task, but even still it was her heart, kindness, and love for her friends, family, and new husband that trumped even her beauty. Together they are kind, caring, thoughtful, fun and most of all best friends. I have so many favorite moments from our time together but their film says it better than any description ever could. Ok, one spoiler. Being the amazing and generous people they are, Pam and Will insisted on sharing the incredible setting of the Secret Beach House with Nick and Kerry-Lee for their engagement. To see that full story please click here. Thank you Will and Pam for inviting me in and allowing me to tell such a beautiful story. Special thanks to the Secret Beach House, The St. Regis Princeville, and as always it was a huge pleasure to shoot alongside the incredibly talented Sea Light Studios.
