Spend two minutes with them you’ll feel like a close friend - within that same amount of time you’ll also see how they are the perfect match. As was mentioned throughout the weekend they both fully embody the “joie de vivre” - and from amazing food, continuous laughter, and passionate dancing; it was on display. In addition to being in a stunning backdrop like Portugal every detail was thought of and couldn’t have been more beautifully appointed. Katy and Aaron had the most beautiful, and unseasonably warm mid-November wedding in Minnesota. There was not a snowflake in sight and many of the leafs were still on the trees. Of course what really made this day special was the love that Katy and Aaron share and the love and excitement of their family and friends who there to celebrate and cheer them on as they being this new chapter in their lives. Both former Tommies, the ceremony was of course at the University of St. Thomas and the reception was held at The Graves 601 hotel in Minneapolis. Everything was stunning, every detail was perfect, and most importantly everyone had a blast. There are so many things I love about this couple and their wedding day but I’ll end with some simple words of advice from the best man for a perfect marriage “Love, commitment, patience, football, pizza, and pancakes.” Congrats Katy and Aaron! Be prepared to laugh, cry, and smile as you take in the epic wedding of Kris and Jay. Although currently living on the west coast they were married at the Semple Mansion in Minneapolis. Choosing a prohibition era theme every detail was perfect, from the attire, Kris couldn’t have looked more radiant and stunning, right down to the skeleton keys for name cards. Jay and Kris are so perfect for each other and it is so clear why they, as they said in their vows, are “true counterparts and accomplices”. They value family, friends, and celebration - aka partying like I’ve never seen! In addition to being many things Jay is a professional DJ and Kris a professional dancer, so yeah, the reception was pretty awesome. Between Jay’s poem “I remember” and the chorus to one of their favorite songs “you are a cinema, I could watch you forever” I am so honored to have been a part of their day and to have captured something that can be watched forever and relived even when, as Jay put it, “we don’t remember a damn thing.” Congrats Kris and Jay! There is so much I want to say about this amazing couple and their epic fall wedding at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa Minnesota. A description that was used a lot throughout the day in talking about Beau and Genevieve’s relationship was “perfect match” - and that couldn’t have been more true. From the way they look at each other, laugh together, tear up the dance floor, and simply have a blast with one another they really are the perfect match. They couldn’t have picked a better day for a fall wedding.The weather was perfect, the colors were vibrant, and Genevieve was stunning. It was such an amazing day. Let’s just say Genevieve is a planner, and every detail was beautiful appointed and thought of, right down to the letter she wrote Beau ONE YEAR to the day before the wedding! Laura and Ned had the most amazing wedding weekend. Over two days it was the best combination of intimate and celebratory. The ceremony and their first reception was held in Ned’s family’s backyard. There is something so romantic and cool about a white tent and chairs against green grass. Laura and Ned are two incredibly creative people - just one of the things that make them a perfect match - and that was on display in every detail. From simple yet perfect details like mason jars wrapped in twine, vibrant colored flowers and fabric, yard games, the table numbers, and on and on. Everything, especially Laura, was absolutely beautiful. The second reception was held at Architectural Antiques in NE Minneapolis. It was such a great place to celebrate and it couldn't have fit Laura and Ned more perfectly. There are so many things I love about this couple and their film but the video says it best. I had the opportunity to get to know Paige and Nolan months before their big day as they decided to create a longer form "love story" video that was shown at their rehearsal dinner. After spending hours with them shooting, and many more hours editing, I really felt like understood who they are and why they love each other - which is so evident in this film. From inside jokes and sayings, to their mutual love for Macey, to just simply being best friends, it couldn't be more clear that Paige and Nolan are a perfect match. They had a spectacular wedding and reception at The Graves hotel. We spent most of our time there but did venture out to the stone arch bridge where one of the most epic "saves" took place by one of the groomsman as Paige's veil flew off in the wind headed for the river. Monisha and Alvaro had the most spectacular wedding with beautiful backdrops like the Woods Chapel, the Guthrie, and the Minneapolis Depot - combined with perfect weather, a stunning bride, and friends and family who were ready to celebrate. Everything was perfect and would have made for a wonderful experience on their own, but as you'll see in this film it was so much more. This wedding film is so special to me and even though I've seen the footage a million times it still moves me. There is so much wisdom, love, positivity and hope - being a part of this day, getting to know Monisha and Alvaro as well as their amazing family and freinds, and watching their film is inspiring and makes me want to be a better person. It was a very powerful day. There is so much more I want to say but the images and voices express it better than I ever could. Enjoy the uplifting and magical wedding of Monisha and Alvaro. Ann and Brian are an amazing couple and they created their wedding day with lots of intention to reflect who they are. Did I mention there were dogs and a ton of fireworks?! We'll get back to that in a moment. They chose to keep things intimate with about 75 guests and a wedding party of 2 at the Enchanted Barn in WI. This was the ideal setting for Brian who being an avid hunter and outdoorsman felt at home in his surroundings and Ann couldn't have looked more beautiful walking through sweeping hills of green grass backdropped by blue skies - she was absolutely stunning and had a contagious smile that lasted all day. Back to the dogs and fireworks. There were 3 of the sweetest golden retrievers who were not only a part of the wedding but having the time of their lives running from one thing to the next - I think they managed to make an appearance in just about every shot. The fireworks were epic and put together by Brian - and with a multi-camera (maybe a little too close but totally worth it) shoot were a blast to capture. Between the pups and fireworks a 10-yearold me was in awe of the whole experience. One final thing that stands out in this special day and really ties all of this beautiful footage together is the toasts. They were personal, funny, touching, and very emotional.
